Fun Time with my Parents

Mum & Pop

My bloggy silence last week was due to a visit from my parents. We had so much fun exploring LA and driving down to San Diego. I wanted to share some pictures - most of them are of food. I hope that's not a problem for anyone - if it is, we'll just have to agree to disagree...

San Luis Rey Mission

We started the week with a drive down to San Diego in a convertible, after which I looked like this:

Hotel Del Coronado

We hopped over to Coronado Island, where my mom painted, my dad took pictures, and I stuck my feet into the freezing ocean.

And my dad grew a glowing white beard!

We drove up and down Mulholland Drive during sunset.

Santa Monicaknitting in the sand

And visited the beach in Santa Monica, where I knit all the yarn, and my mom painted again.

But the food! Oh the food - we seriously lucked out on this trip and had some of the most amazing meals we've ever tasted.

  2. My second favorite part of this post is how delicious that food looks- yum!!!

But my FIRST favorite part of this post is how ANGRY your dad looks to have grown that white beard (almost as mad as your brother looked in the Canavan children XMas photo via 2007? 2008? Anyway, you know which one I mean....)

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun!!!

(PS that was me commenting, not Tom)
